The mission of D.C. Reeves Elementary is to create an environment in which students take the initiative to be Respectful, Compassionate, and Great with an opportunity to be lifelong learners and productive citizens.
Our vision at THE D.C. Reeves Elementary is to create a safe, loving, and nurturing environment that is accepting of all of our culturally diverse students. We are driven by meaningful relationships with our students that empower them to voice their opinions in a respectful manner through open and honest communication. We strive to build a firm foundation that inspires and motivates our students to overcome obstacles and to achieve individual growth and lasting academic success.

Congratulations to Khalil McKnight, a 12th Grade student at Hammond High Magnet School, for being a 2023 U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts nominee. This recognition is one of the nation’s highest honors for high school students who exemplify artistic and academic excellence.
